To us, it's about...

Giving fatherhood its full story: not just the reel of strength, but the quieter moments.

It’s about recognising that even protectors need protecting.

Asking for support doesn’t make you less of a man, but more of a human.

It’s about normalising the emotions that often go unspoken and vulnerability can exist alongside love.

When fathers heal,

families thrive.

Behind The Crib is a Final Year Project spearheaded by a  group of four students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at NTU.

Through this initiative, we seek to uncover these unseen sides of fatherhood and shed light on paternal PPD, a reality often overlooked.

A message from

Hello Fathers!

You might be wondering why a bunch of students are talking about paternal postpartum depression?

Well the truth is, not enough people are.

Growing up, many of us saw our fathers as the rock of the family – strong, dependable, always holding things together. But somewhere along the way, we realised how little we actually heard their stories, their emotions, their silent battles.

So we started Behind The Crib: to listen, to learn, and to help others hear what’s often left unspoken.

Because fathers too, deserve to be cared for, supported, and understood.
